The Q30's sound is natural, however it lags it's a bit harsh on the treble. Some may not be a fan of the bass response (we have had better results using the Bass Booster EQ). It is possible to fix this using the Soundcore App, which has an eight-band Equalizer.
The headphones feature an power button and a pairing button on the left earcup along with an USB-C port to charge. The right earcup has play/pause, and volume up/down buttons. Double-clicking these controls lets you skip tracks or replay the previous one. They also have a voice command, so you can request to switch the mode or set an alarm. The battery life of these headphones is excellent and the battery life is also excellent. In our tests with ANC enabled the Q30 lasted nearly an hour longer than its competitors. This leaves plenty of time for an extended flight or working for a long time. They can be quickly recharged using the USB-C cable included and you'll be able to see warnings when they're about to run empty.

Focal's Bathys Wireless is a pair of powerful over-ear Bluetooth headphones that offer active noise cancellation as well as Bluetooth playback. The only issue is that the XM5s don't have any water resistance or dust resistance protection. In fact, copyright recommends that you don't sweat into them or wear them in the rain. This might not be a problem for many people, but it might prove a stumbling block for anyone considering the XM5s who spends much of their time in the gym or lives in a city with rain.

The Apple AirPods Max are a pair of wireless headphones that fit over the ear equipped with Bluetooth technology and noise cancelling. The headphones have a light build that feels comfortable on the head. The ear cups, which are made of memory foam, are covered with woven fabric, are comfortable to wear over the ear and do not place pressure on the sides or forehead. The headphones go into standby when they are removed from your ears or when they are put in their case. They will come back into use when you put them on your head.
Spatial audio is another cool feature. It makes use of accelerometers, gyroscopes, and iPhones or iPads to determine where you are moving. Then, it adjusts the sound so that they seem to be coming from that location. This creates an immersive theater experience for movies and videos that were recorded in 5.1, 7.1 or Dolby Atmos. Only iOS devices can be used to listen to the spatial audio.
The AirPods Max are a decent pair of headphones, but I'd feel slightly smug about entering an Apple Store and spending $549 on them if I knew they'd be beaten in a year by the new model. AirPods Pro are more expensive, but they have more battery life and are equipped with the latest features.
